Through Sheba’s initiative, our partner organisation Alternative Approach organised a Breast and Cervical cancer awareness programme at the Chalan Beel Sewing and Sales centre on the 2nd December 2021. A breast and cervical cancer awareness campaigner and activist from Dhaka Ms Sabina Yeasmin Madhobi ran the workshop which was attended by 30 women. The participating women received valuable information about the magnitude of the problems and their impact on health and family life. Information was also provided on breast self-examination and importance on regular cervical cancer screening.
